With a primary focus on sports photography - most notably his work in baseball - Matthew creates visually striking photographs, documenting moments as they happen.

Since 2023, Matthew has served as the assistant team photographer for the Atlanta Braves, working under Kevin D. Liles.

Matthew’s work earned first place honors in the 2024 Professional Baseball Photographers Association contest for team photographer portfolio and feature categories, and honorable mention in the action category in the 2025 contest.

Aside from his work with the Braves, Matthew photographs sports, portraits and commercial work. His personal work documents moments and cityscapes in his home city of Atlanta.
